Roma manager Luis Enrique has revealed that he is looking at the prospect of bringing back experienced defender Gabriel Heinze for the match against Juventus on Sunday night.

Roma will be facing the team that is still undefeated in the league this season.

Despite being undefeated, Juventus have just a one-point lead ahead of AC Milan in the table. As a result, they will be taking the match against Roma very seriously. It is also an important match for Roma given that they are in a race with the likes of Lazio and Napoli for the third position. This would guarantee them a place in the group stages of the Champions League next season.

Gabriel Heinze was not part of the first team when Roma played Udinese recently. In his place, Luis Enrique decided to utilise Daniel de Rossi in the defence. Simon Kjaer played alongside him in the central defence.

However, the manager is looking to go for an experienced defender for the match against Juventus due to the importance of it. Even though Argentine defender Gabriel Heinze may not be at the peak of his game, he has a lot of experience after having played for a number of clubs including the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid over the years.

It is thought that Aleandro Rosi will be utilised at the right back position, while Taddei will be continuing at left back. The race for the third position in the Italian Serie A is turning out to be one of the hottest this season. Napoli looked like being the favourites for this position, but since their defeat at the hands of Chelsea, they have turned pale. Now, it is a fight between Roma, Udinese, and Lazio. Lazio are currently four points ahead of archrivals Roma in the table.
